MASS-STREAM^TM Series D-6200 and D-5100
Mass Flow Meters and Controllers for Gases

Flow meters of M+W Instruments are suitable for all kinds of applications in industrial, chemical, medical and laboratory environments. Basically the D-6200 series instruments consist of a metal block with a straight bore. Two stainless steel probes protrude inside the bore; a heater probe and a temperature probe. A constant difference in temperature (ΔT) is created between the two and the energy required to maintain this ΔT is dependent of the mass flow rate. For low flow rates the D-5100 series with by-pass measurement principle is applied.

Based on the concepts of the D-6200 and D-5100 series mass flow meters, a compact mass flow controller is available. For flows up to 400 l_n/min an integrated solenoid control valve is applied. These valves are of a modular construction. For flows more than 400 ln/min an external valve is applied.

Various kv-values are available: 6.6 x 10^-2; 0.3; 1.0;

Our flow meters can also be furnished with pipe-on control valves for a large variety of applications.
